and Hiya tracey. Didn't know you were in Japan? Keep checkin the site
yeah? We promise you all that the gig list is coming up real soon. Due
to some recent events (which I'm sure a lot of you would know about) we
decided to keep the gigs off line for a short while. Keep an eye in your
local papers for any upcoming gigs in your area, and Samantha well, welcome
back its always good to hear from you. You still haven't seen us since
the Maynooth gig have ya? Yil have to get to one soon. I see that the
Red Mock Chili Peppers have been on the site and signin the book, well
lads we hope all is going well for yis all as it is for us. The link yis
put up is'nt there but we found your site anyway. its not ready yet but
we like the style of it with the flash 'n' all. And I'm sure that some
of you have noticed that Anthony Kiedis himself has signed our guestbook
in entry 203!!! Yeah right! we traced the address to a college in England.
The Guildford College of Further & Higher Education, so unless Anthony
was visiting there (which is highly unlikely) someone was obviously bored
or on acid and thought they were the man himself.....respect...:) Hope
yis all keep coming back and checking the site cause its good to log on
and see a few more comments on the book. We WILL...WILL....WILL be putting
up a new site soon we've just been delayed for a little while thats all.
So, keep throwing new suggestions at us about what yis would like on the

guys. i think your idea for a chili peppers tribute band is the biggest
thrill for Me, Flea, John and Chad. it's such an honour for you irish
folk to do your "thang" in front of crowds. It's also a great
priveledge to know that someone out there is emulating the pure energy
and good vibes that we try to include in every one of our gigs. I will
be keeping very close tabs on you people in the future. In case you were
wondering "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" was written about a time we
were in Amsterdam. We went to a sexually orientated magic show in the
Red Light district, hooked up with the performers afterwards and it turns
out they were both diabetic. Hence the whole Blood Sugar thing. Best of
luck in the future, and remember to keep it funkier than funky.

fucking great show and every1 at it said they had a brilliant,yet drunken
time. Bad news about the cancelled gig on the sat, we were looking forward

was wondering WHY no one was signing the Guestbook for the last couple
of weeks until I tried myself today only to find an error...WHAT??? AN
ERROR?? That explains it..!!!)popularity eh??) Anyway sorry about the
delay but we are back in action as you can see. On another note, the gig
in the Pheonix Park was f**kin amazin...spent the whole day there off
me friggin head but still weary enough to realise the boys were on stage
and what a performance they put on...THEY ROCKED THE PLACE!!! We are going
to change the site around a little again in the next few weeks so any
input or ideas you have, post them up here on the guestbook. I know some

As far
as I know its not on-line so here it is:
After all the hubbub of the Battle of the Bands, and the winners had been
announced it was time for Blood Sugar to start their show. This Red Hot
Chilli Peppers tribute band was met by a rapturous response from a crowd
full of fans. I have it on good authority that that night in the Venue
was "as good as Slane", sounds promising and only being a passive
fan of the RHCP this band put on an extremely entertaining show.
Each of the Musicians had studied their Hollywood counterpart and could
emulate their act to a tee! From the Vocals to the Drums, there was a
chemistry apparent within this band that could rival any tribute band
in the country. ~ taken from The Spoke, NUIM's student paper.
So you guys seemed to impress everyone, hope it doesn't give you guys
big heads!!!

We are trying our best to get to Virginia however cheap accomadation is
posing a difficulty (we are poor students who live about 50-65 miles away),
but we are trying and have looked up places on the internet to see if
we can find anything!!

guys, saw you in NUI Maynooth on march 10th after the battle of the bands.
Nehoo luckily I got right up front for the whole lot of your gig ,right
in front of padraic, with all my friends.
I have to honestly say it was one of the best gigs I have ever been to
and its got me really looking forward to the rhcp gig in phoenix. If they
are half as good, in june, as ye were on wednesday it is going to be unbelievable.
Niall your drumming skills are fantastic and you seemed to be having a
great time.
Padraic you have anthony down to a t, attitude, singing style, everything.
Your presence on stage is fantastic.
The bass player (will someone please let me know his name) you were out
of this world. I love the bass so much and and you did a fantastic job
on all of the songs. (plus you had a really nice smile)
And Timmy you are one of the best guitarists I have ever witnessed!
I was talking to you before Icon (the band that won the battle of the
bands) came on, about the music that night and you were really nice, you
can imagine my surprise when I saw you out on the stage, (i was right
up the front when I was talking to you as well).
I just count myself lucky that i was up the front to see you playing.
Overall it was a great night and two days later my ears are still buzzing
and I'm just getting the feeling back in my neck and have vowed that I
will see you play again.
Anyway this is turning out to be an essay so I'll finsh by saying let
me know when your next gigs are and you guys were great!

chilis should be signed up to play knebworth after confirmation of them
playing Cardiffs millenium stadium and Edinburghs Murrayfield stadium
they could quite clearly handle a show that big.

hey
lads, I was in the Olympia on the 31st, it was my third time to see ye
in the Olympia, fifth in total and you didn't disappoint, again i was
in the front row in the centre....had a ball, it was great, brought a
few friends who hadn't seen ye before to spread the joy and they were
well impressed.....any chance ye will be playing in Mohill, Co. Leitrim
again anytime soon????

i haven't heard Blood Sugar but i would definately love to hear them and

rockers. What a few weeks of gigging that was...phew...but it's always
great, and worth it to be out doin decent gigs around the country. And
hey Pino, do you have a website? Like to see it if you do. We haven't
played England yet but we are in de process of lining up a couple of weeks
in London for next summer so keep an eye out on our site for all our future
updates. What does anyone think of the new single,"Fortune Faded"
eh? Would be interested in hearing your views on anything you might have
to offer. In a few weeks we will be adding a lot more functionality to
our website....Gig Lists!!!...Set suggestions!!!...sending in your pics
of gigs and so on....Any suggestions or ideas from yourselves would be

Ro from the Brig, Yes indeed it was NOT me in the Olympia on Saturday
night. From time to time there is another bass player who stands in and
covers for me so when I can't do certain gigs. Truth is I had holidays
planed for that time that couldn't be cancelled, the Olympia gig came
in and it had to be done! I really love playing the Olympia and I'll be
there next time. Playing Naas this Friday and the Cork Jazz Festival on
Saturday, needless to say (but I'll say it anyway) we are really looking
forward to this weekend, last years Jazz gig was great, the crowd down
there are mad in the head!!

The
band are called Blood Sugar as they are based around that album and originally
nearly all their songs used to be based around Blood Sugar sex Magik but
the crowd did not want to hear all the old stuff so now they play the
news stuff as well but main emphasis still on Blood Sugar
